Accepting Applications for Full Time Employment - 1/17/2013
We are accepting applications for full time employment at this time. Applications can be picked up at either Station 1 in New Waverly, at 113 Cedar Street, or at Station 3 in Logansport at 1444 Holland Street. Applications can also be downloaded via this website by going to the Become A Member Page. ALL applications must be either postmarked, or turned in in person, no later than January 30th. Questions can be answered by calling either station, or emailing the chief. Good luck, and thank you for your interest.

Safety Day @ Home Depot - 9/4/2012
Saturday, October 6th at Home Depot in Logansport, there will be a Safety Day from 10am-2pm. This has become an annual thing, and we are proud to be a part of it. Many agencies will be present to help teach families about safety in several areas, including fire safety and gun safety. There will also be a crafts area for children to make something to take home with them. One of the most popular attractions of this event is the arrival and landing of the Samaritan Life-Flight Helicopter. So, spread the word, and come see us, and our apparatus!

With the time change being twice yearly, it is a great time to change your smoke and CO detector batteries!

***UPCOMMING TRAINING ANNOUNCEMENT*** - 2/02/2012
Norfolk and Southern Railroad Co. Will be hosting a Railroad Emergencies class on February 22nd at 6:30PM. The class will be held at the Cass County Fire District 1 station at 1444 Holland St in Logansport. The class is expected to be approximately 3 hours long. It's that time of year again, don't forget that your clocks need to 'fall back' one hour, at 2a.m. Sunday November 6th! And while you're doing that, it's also a great time to check the batteries in your smoke detector and carbon monoxide alarm!
